At Ride Shop, we stand behind our adventure gear and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of cycling components, outdoor apparel, and technical equipment. If you’re not happy with an item, we’ll make it right.
Our Return Policy
You may return most items within 15 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging
- All tags and labels must be attached
- A copy of your order confirmation or receipt is required
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Base Layers (worn next to skin)
- Gloves (for hygiene reasons)
- Headwear (including hats and helmets)
- Any items marked as “Final Sale”
Note: This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty or incorrectly shipped items.
How to Return an Item
Follow these simple steps to process your return or exchange:
- Submit a Return Request within 15 days of receiving your order by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Return Request – [Your Order Number]”. Use our template below.
- Wait for Approval – Our team will review your request within 1-2 business days and send return instructions.
- Package Your Item – Securely repackage the item with all original packaging and include your order confirmation.
- Ship Your Return – Send the package to our warehouse at the address provided in your return instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you via standard shipping.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
Note: International refunds may take additional time depending on your bank’s processing.
Exchange Process
To exchange an item for a different size or color:
- Follow the standard return process
- Clearly indicate in your return request what you’d like to exchange for
- We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive and process your return
If the exchange item is more expensive, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it’s less expensive, we’ll refund the difference.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged product or incorrect item received. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and cover all associated shipping costs.
